R.I.P Google Reader.

I just can't blog every day.  I'm boring myself to death.  In fact, I don't think I can even blog every other day. So, I'll go back to blogging when I'm good and ready.  Maybe I can come up with something twice a week, but don't count on it.

Apparently, Google Reader is going away as of July, so I'll have to find another reader that I like, or I'll just have to go to the blogs on my blog list, which takes longer, and is irritating when I go to blogs that haven't been updated.  So, we'll see how things go.

I really detest Google. It seems that every change they make makes it less user-friendly.  And, what do they care?  They don't even have a customer service or contact us page.  There is a page where you can ask questions, but you aren't asking Google.  You're asking other users, and they don't know the answers.

If I find another, easy to use Reader, I'll be sure to post the link, in case anyone else wants to use it.

 Stay tuned.

I have been a happy Google reader user for a long time. When I found out that Google was laying it to rest, I started looking for a replacement. I am now using Feedly, www.feedly.com I'm still trying to get used to it. One important feature is that it lets you import everything from Google reader.

Always changes to adjust to. I do not find you boring ever, but every day is setting the bar a bit high.

I suppose that's why I continue to use Mozella Firefox as my browser, Betty.

Google purchased YouTube a few years back. I manage a filter for several school districts.

Try to let Google in and keep YouTube out. It is nearly impossible. So many schools are using the free Google Drive/Apps/Mail and need to have it open in the filter but they do not want YouTube open.

Google makes it nearly impossible to separate the two!

The have been a pain to me for years!

I know how you feel Betty. I used to blog nearly every day. Now I prefer to think about my subject for a few days before I publish it.
