A couple of years ago, Netflix revamped its site and separated the DVDs that come to your home from the "Streaming" that you can watch instantly on your computer , so now you can get both for about $15.00 a month, or you can just subscribe to "Streaming" for around $8.00 a month or just order DVDs sent to your home for about the same amount. I don't know what it costs to order the DVDs because I just watch the "Streaming," but you'll find all the information you need by clicking away or going to "Help"
When you go to the Netflix website, across the top you'll see several categories, i.e. "Watch Instantly", "Just for Kids," Instant Queue." Taste Profile," and DVDs..
Below that, you'll see a bunch of suggested titles. Click on any of them and you can put what you want to watch in your "Instant Queue." You can list as many as you like and when you're ready to watch, just click on something in the list, and you'll get a description of the movie, etc., and start watching. The movies on "Streaming" are slightly older. "The Queen" with Helen Mirren, and "The King's Speech" were available for a very short time on "Streaming", but they are on DVD, if you subscribe to both. Hopefully, they'll come back.
I find "Streaming" much more satisfyig than waiting for the DVD to come in the mail and then trying to remember to send it back.
I'm sure there is a lot more to learn, but this ought to get you started. I hope this has been helpful. Try it! You'll like it!
