Headlines

Before I get on with the headlines of the past couple of days, I want to mention that Cox Cable did it again. For people who "bundle," the whole system went down at noon today - a cloud went over.  We were without cable, internet and phones for nine hours.  About once a week for the past three weeks, the system has failed, either in part or completely, for varying lengths of time. This is unacceptable, particularly since it made me miss Jeopardy! and NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles.

Windstream, I think I'm coming back to you.

-----

Now, for the headlines:

"Ohioans repealed the law limiting union rights."   Power to the people!

-----

"Polls show voters believe GOP is intentionally stalling the economy."  What was their first clue?

-----

"Not all Republicans rally around Herman Cain."  Republicans can't agree to rally around anyone.

-----

"Schumer predicts Super Committee will fail."  Is he a slow study or what?

-----

Michele Bachmann suggests Mitt Romney is 'Frugal Socialist'."  Define "Socialist."  Define "Frugal."  Define "Batshit crazy."

-----

"Dr. Conrad Murray found guilty in the Michael Jackson's trial."  And yet, Michael is still dead.

-----

"Sharon Bialek accuses Cain of sexually inappropriate behavior."  Four accusations, four denials, and counting.

-----

The Duggars are expecting their 20th child.   They make rabbits jealous.

Stay tuned.

Michelle Duggar is having another baby? I've decided not to judge her anymore. It's absolutely none of my business what she does with her body. Her family seems happy enough. Good luck to her. I was watching her get interviewed and she was getting asked some very personal questions! I know what MY answer would have been if anybody asked me if I was going to have another baby. "None of your business!" My only advice for her is to get some boundaries with the media intrusion into her family decisions.

She has relied on the media to make her family famous and get a reality show so much, I doubt she could set any boundaries now.

Nine hours! That must have been some cloud!

Nine hours is not just a black cloud; it is a tornado! teehee

Herman has harassed so many women that he does not even remember most of them. Remember Cain in the Bible!

I laughed out loud at your last one. I just wish they would stop parading these nut jobs on TV!

Sorry about your tv and internet problems. I wouldn't blame you for switching back, sounds like the other guys have it more together.

Peruby: It doesn' take much.

School Time: It happens all too often.

Margaret: I'm with you.

Looking: I have a feeling Windstream would be just as bad in its own way, and probably more expensive But, I'm going to check on it, anyway.

I am currently a Windstream customer, as they bought up my local phone company. Knock on wood-so far so good.
