Messages to Strangers

1. To the new Aldi Stor in my town. Welcome. Walmart must be worried about you They refuse to match your prices.  Well played.

2. To Burger King. Thanks for sending your creepy king into exile. Now, I can open my blinds without fear of encountering him lurking on the other side of my window.

3. To all the people on the West Coast who tweeted snarky comments about people on the East Coast. Shame on you!  I'll bet your first earthquake scared you, too.

4. To everyone who read "The Help" long before I did. You were right. It was a really good read. It also brought back a lot of memories to me and other southerners my age.

5. To the Libyan rebels. Pay no attention to the American media who wonder why you aren't moving faster. Remember, Americans are the "instant gratification society." We don't know how to be patient.

6. To Cox Cable. If your television ad copy makes the actor in your ad look like an idiot, how does that reflect on you?  I refer to the guy in the Snuggie bragging about being able to watch "anytime, anywhen." AnyWHEN?!?!

Stay tuned.

Now that was a great list.

Thankfully I have never see this cox cable ad....anywhen?
However I did drive by a school yesterday that spelled school like this "shcool."

C'mon if your placard outside in front of your building of a learning center is spelled incorrectly then what chance do the kids inside have to learn to spell outside of texting??? Jeez

wonder why wally wouldn't match aldi? you might call wally's parent at Bentallie and turn them in.
siser helen out in the desert south west has a wally world on every corner she found one that refused to price match one day, she called their Daddy and turned them in.
each wally has it's own manager and some times they get to thinking they are GOD. by the time sister was finished he knew he wasn't God.

Witty, delightfully witty. It is a strange world we live in and laughing away the BurgerKing is a good way to start.

I didn't know that you had 'Aldi' in the US. Here in the UK there are a number of stores who undercut the major supermarkets. Unfortunately there are none where I live. :-(

Not sure but an ALDI may be coming to a town near me, too.

I can relate to the cable ad. We have a cable company named Suddenlink. The must be a subsidiary of COX because their ads are as dorky as yours seem to be.
