Trick or ......... Trick

Only three or four days before Hallowe'en, and I, for one, am ready to get it over with. Every day, I receive two or three e-mails urging me to look closely at an attached photo, or video.  In one, I am to locate the deer in a forest.  In another, I am to count the number of bunnies (or some other cute little animal).  Then, I am to look deep into the eyes of a portrait, and watch for the eyes to move, or watch a car careen down a mountain road. .  Then, after I am thoroughly engaged in doing whatever I am asked to do, up pops a ghoulish, bloody face, with a blood-curdling scream.

I always know what is going to happen, really.  So, why do I fall for it every stinkin' time?

Stay tuned.

Gee, I am a bit hurt. I am not getting any of those bladder- retention-test-emails this year.
Oops, maybe I shouldn't say that out loud.
Hang in there, Halloween, like the elections, will soon be over and life will be peaceful again.

I've never gotten one of those, thank goodness! We are ready for Halloween to be over also, along with the elections. I am sooooo tired of all the phone calls.

Went to the store the other day & they had Christmas stuff out! Halloween & Thanksgiving haven't arrived & they had Christmas. Geez, can we get any break from holiday sales? I guess not :)

I'm with Arkansas Patti--not such e-mails yet, but my finger ans an infinity for the DELETE key as I have a cousin and a military friend of my husband who stuff my box with crap every day. Sometimes i have 10 e-mails politicallly motivated or some other supposed attribute of truth knocked down by Snopes, or hundreds of inspirational stuff I have read for the nth time since I have had Internet 15 years.

Gosh, Betty, I don't know why you fall for it every time. Maybe it's because you are human.

Maybe it's the curious kid in you that always falls for these e-mails Betty. I'm afraid I'd be the same way...and sometimes I actually enjoy them; as long as there aren't too many of them.
