A View From The View

Did anyone see The View this morning? This program has taken a kind of wacky turn, if all they can do is interview wackos. I love Whoopi and Joy, so I watch. Sherri is funny, but I can do without Barbara and yappy Elizabeth.

The first guest this morning was Rob (cukoo)Blogojevich (sp?). Barbara interviewed him from an undisclosed location, apparently feeling that she was the only one who can conduct an interview. She asked all the usual questions, i.e., "Didn't you know you were under investigation?" And, he gave all the usual answers, i.e. "I didn't do it, and if I did it, I didn't realize I was doing it, and I was taken out of context, and wait until you hear the tapes in their entirety, if you ever GET to hear the tapes, they won't let me bring witnesses to the impeachment blah, blah, blah, it's not fair, Waaaaaaaaah!"

Actually, Joy got the best zinger off, as she usually does. She said, "I hear you do a great imitation of Richard Nixon. Let's hear it." And, he modestly ducked his head and demurred. She pressed. "Come on, say 'I am not a crook."

The next guest was Nancy (if they arrested you, you must be guilty) Grace, talking about the lates sensational murder trials. I'll tell you a little secret. In case you didn't know it, this woman is biased beyond belief. She pronounces each defendant guilty before they are ever tried, and still, she's allowed to bloviate on her own show night after night. She simply refuses to entertain the notion that someone might be innocent of the charge(s) brought against them. She's also as paranoid as they come. Not fun to watch, but go ahead, if you must.

Things are getting stranger and stranger out there, folks.

Stay tuned.

First off, thanks for stopping by my site. Good to hear from another person from the Natural State, especially the prettiest part.
No way to argue with your post. Well done. I only saw part of The View and turned that silly coiffure off. Way to go Joy.
Hope we are both spared the ice storm today. Stay warm.

And people wonder why I'm addicted to Law and Order reruns.

I didn't see yet today, but I do try to watch everyday. I love The View.

I love Elizabeth but I despise Joy - she is simply condescending and not funny. I do like Whoopi. She will general listen to different opinions.

Blago is the most entertaining politician EVER! I hope he sticks around for a while.

Oh and I think BOTH Joy AND Elizabeth are annoying and very rude. They both interrupt people a lot.

I used to like The View, and I watched when Lisa Ling was on it. But I quit several years ago. I got tired of watching them all talk over each other and interrupt.

I don't watch any daytime TV, including The View. I'm sure if I stopped working on the computer and got into it...I'd watch it like so many others do; but honestly I don't think I could have stomached Blago for very long especially since he's OUR Gov. here in IL and he has shamed us beyond belief with his actions and arrogance. I can barely stand to look at him.

The only time I watch daytime TV is Sunday morning. I watch the talking heads sound off like they know what they are talking about. It gives me a great excuse to vent my anger then I can stay serene the rest of the day.

I stopped watching the View a long time ago, it causes too many sudden shifts in my blood pressure

Sherri and Elizabeth are both idiots - I love when Sherri said she wasn't sure if the world really was round.

Whoppi is far too good for this crap and Joy is best on her own
