Just Shut Up

Photobucket

Evidently, we can add my name to the list of people from whom Sarah Palin won't take advice. The first thing she did upon her arrival in Alaska was to go to office and start talking to the media. And, talking, and talking, and talking, and she hasn't stopped.

She will give an interview to Matt Lauer of the Today Show, tomorrow, then it's Larry King Live Wednesday night, and undoubtedly Fox News will feature her as often as she is willing, starting with an interview with Greta Van Sustern.

After a long and difficult presidential campaign, there is only one question left unanswered. What kind of puppy will Sasha and Malia get?

Since they need to find a hypoo-allergenic breen, might I suggest a PBGV (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen)? This French breed (a scent hound) is still a bit rare in the United States. However, according to the American Kennel Club website, they have gained enough popularity that there are "rescue" PBGVs to be had.

I am allergic to most dogs and all cats, and have had no problem with Kell's PBGV. Cosette is energetic, curious, funny and loveable, if a bit stubborn. She is a small dog with a great big hound-like bark, which, unfortunately, makes people crack up, instead of being afraid of her.

Stay Tuned.

I am glad people have puppy-gate to keep them busy. LOL. Clearly the most pressing issue right now. ;)

Are you really surprised about Sarah, Betty? I'm not. IF she had any brains, class or style, she would have gone back to Alaska, shut up and stayed shut up.

Abe Lincoln said "'Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."

Yet another gap in Sarah's lousy education.

Did you see the video about her I posted on Sunday? It would be a hoot if it weren't so sad.

karen: The choice of a puppy for the girls will be one of the first important decisions president-elect will make. It will tell a lot about his judgement, blah, blah, blah.......:-)

bear naked: I just saw your post, but didn't have time to comment. I'm kind of bad about that. Sorry.

kay: Yes, I did see it. As I said, I'm kind of bad about getting impatient, and not commenting. I'll try to get better.

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah...oh, I think she'll have plenty to say Betty...and NOBODY'S going to shut her up.

Adorable pup....nice choice.

Betty: Do you find it as ironic as I do that the one of the very reasons that John McCain lost is because many believed his judgement was poor in selecting Sarah Palin?

Now the twit is on to celebrityhood and the wingnut base of the republican party just can't get enough of her. Amazing...

Meanwhile, John McCain made a decent and honorable concession speech, is laying low and getting ready to do his senator thing.

I didn't vote for the man, but I can respect him much more than Mrs. Palin. She is the "reality show candidate" if there ever was one.

I expect a visit to the Jerry Springer show is next for her.

I find it incredible that Sarah the Barracuda has the gall to open her mouth. More incredible is the media coverage for her rambling sentences. And most incredible of all are the nets that still think she's presidential material for 2012.

The dog is a cutie and a good candidate.

I think a maltese is also a good choice and might be easier to find in shelters

Cosette is so adorable. She always looks so concerned about something lol

I can't even think about Sarah anymore!!

joy: She's my grandpuppy.

richard: I just hope her party gets tired of her pretty soon.

darlene: She sure can talk a lot without saying much.

dianne: Of course, I'm partial to PBGVs. But I'm just hoping they don't choose a poodle.
