The Week The Circus Came To Town

I thought he'd never shut up. Not that I watched a minute of the convention. I just saw the highlights every evening on the nightly news.

It's over, at last- the train wreck that was the Republican Convention. It's time to return to reality. Does anyone else think it's hilarious that the song that was played at the end was "You Can't Always Get What You Want?"  The Rolling Stones must be so proud.

I'm looking forward to next week's Democratic Convention, which could be a circus of another kind, frankly. But, not nearly as painful.

Why does anger and hatred always seem to work?  The man is an empty suit. And, I'm frankly afraid he could actually be elected.  I hate to think what will happen to this country if he does. The Republicans in the Senate and Congress will roll right over him, and he's not smart enough to realize it. They'll simply make him think everything is his idea.

I'm so disgusted, I can't even talk about it any more.

Stay tuned.

He has a strong backing in my Redneck of the woods. I only had friend friends....who pretty much had many of the same ideas, I had. When Mr BC got sick, many of the folks in our small town, friended me. When they found out I was posting about him. Now I am stuck with them....so I had to hide them. Their posts were so hateful of the Democrats. I am an independent back here as we can pick our ballots in the primary. I will not be voting for Trump in Nov either.

I actually have a family member who is a fan of his. She use to be rather smart. Wonder what happened? I actually find him scary.

Olga: They are very weird, indeed.

Katie: I would never vote for him. Can you imagine being married to him? No wonder he had to go out of the country for most of his wives.

Patti: I have a friend I've known for thirty years. She's all in for Trump, but it's because she hates Hillary with a passion - she's just irrational about her and Bill. I can't even talk to her without hearing her rant and rave about the Clintons. So, I may just have to stop talking to her altogether, at least until after the election, at which time I hope I can rub it in about the second President Clinton. If she weren't so offensive in her hatred, I wouldn't care what she thought, but nobody deserves the nasty things she and the Republicans are saying.
