Super Tuesday

We watched election returns on MSNBC all last night and I'm ashamed to say that we didn't even know we were having storms in Arkansas. We discovered, on this morning's weather report, that there were killer tornados all over the state. The closest one to us was at Gassville, which isn't really very close, at that. It did rain here, but we never lost power nor did we have any hail.

Anyway, how about Super Tuesday? I hope everything went the way you wanted it to, and your candidates all came out ahead.

I don't have a lot to say about the day, except that it was pretty predictable. I'm satisfied.

How about you?

I was watching American Idol and having cocktails with some friends. I didn't know about the storms or pay attention to the results. But Huckabee did much better than I thought he would.

I was watching the end of Super Tuesday on Wednesday morning here. I sure did like what the Democratic candidates had to say. I'd be happy to vote for either of them.

I was very glad to hear you guys were ok! I'm trying to figure out how a big Clinton state like mine went for Obama. I don't really care, it was just interesting.

Glad that you missed the storms.
I have never seen such press and TV coverage of the US primaries etc as there has been this year in the UK. I always thought that the US democratic process was a mystery to most Brits. Perhaps it's just the 'Billary' factor. One UK national newspaper even had a two page article by Obama today.

Well, at least Romney (spelling) has dropped out. I am glad to see his backside at the door. Any man who spends millions of his own to get in the white house needs to go to his own bought mansion.

I'm watching Huckabee and am wondering if he was so bombastic and evangelical when he ran for governor? I wasn't in the state then and didn't have my eye on him. But I'm watching him now, shaking my head in despair that he and Arkansas are spoken in the same breath.
