Interview by Kell

OK, Kell. Here are your questions and my answers. Good questions, by the way. They made me think harder than I like.

1. You’re on a time machine. Which period in history do you want to go to first, why, and what would you do there? I think the Roaring Twenties might be interesting. I'd probably party all the time. Going to speakeasies where you needed a password to get in, dancing my feet off. And, I could be younger, right?

2. You’ve won a shopping spree at a bookstore. After the mysteries section, where would you go and what would you get? We're talking Barnes & Noble here, aren't we? Well, then, I'd go get an iced Caramel Macchiato, then I'd check out the best sellers, new releases and general fiction.

3. If you could set up your own graduate-level literature seminar, which writer, time period, or genre would you choose and what would you teach? I'm trying to decide between John Steinbeck and Agatha Christie. Agatha is such an interesting woman, and I'd love to know more about that period of time when she just up and disappeared for a while. On the other hand, Steinbeck was, well, Steinbeck. My favorite author. So, I guess Steinbeck would be the one. Whew! Decisions, decisions!

4. If you could sit in on the taping of any tv show, which one would it be and who would you most want to talk to? I can't imagine sitting in on any of the shows these days. But, if I have to pick one, I guess I'd pick "Crossing Jordan". I'd like to talk to Miguel Ferrer about his mother, Rosemary Clooney.

5. You won an apartment makeover. What would you want to see done? I'd like the rooms to be a bit bigger, with fresh paint and carpet, and add a second bathroom and a garage. I'd like the refrigerator to have an ice maker. And, I'd like the rent to stay the same as it is now. And, people in hell want ice water.

Have a good weekend, everybody.

Cool answers. You think big on makeovers, I like it! It's not asking much for a refrigerator to have an ice maker.

I'd take your seminar on either author.

I've never seen Crossing Jordan. It must be pretty good huh??? I DVR so many things as it is, I can't keep up.

The roaring 20's would be a BLAST!!!!!! I'm with you there. I love the clothes back then too.

Very interesting. I never would have thought about the 20's but what a great time.

I also never would've thought about adding rooms and a garage for a makeover!

Fun answers!

The Twenties would be wildly interesting, I agree. You like Steinbeck, so do I. You remember Rosemary Cloony, so do I. One bathroom is enough for me though and it would be The Daily Show that I'd want to watch being taped.

I loved reading your answers.

A lot of bathrooms would be a lot of cleaning. Sometimes it is nice not to get what you wish for...is my feeling on a lot of this!

Definately the roaring twenties!

I've always thought it would be nice to have an ice maker too!

This ole house once knew his children... Ah, Rosemary Clooney...aunt of George Clooney

A second bathroom is certainly convenient.

I hope that your weekend is good too.

carmensincity: Crossing Jordan is pretty good. Try it sometime.

Kell: I know you said "makeover", which suggests the rooms already exists, but I like to think big.
